Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid, a Power Rangers tag-based fighting game, has been officially revealed after being leaked earlier this week. The game will be released on Nintendo Switch, PS4, PC and Xbox One this year.

Developed by nWay, who previously made the iOS and Android Power Ranger: Lost Legacy game, Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid will play similar to the smartphone hit. The game is being published by Hasbro and Lionsgate Games.

Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid will feature rangers across different multiverses from the series’ rich 25 year history. The developers also stated the game is “easy to learn” but a “hard to master game”, which indicates an prominence on timing like the smartphone games.
You’ll also be able to play the game online; plus the developers confirmed Battle for the Grid to support cross-play across PC, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One.
Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid will be available for $20, but there’s also a Collector’s Edition available for $40 that will include the Season One Pass which has three extra characters with their own stories and warrior skin, and Lord Drakkon Evo II and Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Pink Ranger skins.
