Nintendo Switch Lite have seem to capture a lot of Nintendo fans heart, i mean who doesn't want to game on a portable platform, able to carry around?

The brand-spanking new, portable-only version of Switch offers a cheaper way of jumping on the Switch train with a focus on handheld play which makes it a true replacement for Nintendo 3DS. But before considering leaving your main Switch behind, we just have to hint you that the Switch Lite handheld console might not be able to support all games.

As you can see in the image above, Nintendo states on its website that Tabletop Mode isn't supported with Switch Lite. Yeah that's true, but you still have one way to tackle that. You can connect wireless controllers to it just like the normal Switch. Switch Lite simply lacks the kickstand of the standard model. It's obvious that you can't attach Joy-Con to the console anymore, but you can definitely have a way to charge them separately such as a Joy-Con Charging Grip. So let's hit straight to the listing.

How To Know If A Switch Game Doesn't Support Handheld Mode
Alright many people will find this difficult to figure out when purchasing a game. That's why we're here to guide you properly. You'll want to keep a look out for the little handheld icon on the box (or on the eShop game page if you buy your games digitally). Look on the back of the box and you'll find a series of icons indicating compatibility like the ones below for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (left) and Nintendo Labo Toy-Con 04: VR Kit (right):
