We're introduced with a new series from Netflix, probably a very terrifying and scariest series ever on Friday 13th as Marianne arrived on the streaming service and left viewers shocked.

The French horror series, which comes with English subtitles, follows Emma, a novelist who wrote books based on her nightmares about a witch, which are coming true. She heads back to her home town to face her demons (quite literally, in this case) after the evil witch from her nightmares starts causing chaos in the real world.
Emma has to work out the ending to her stories in order to get rid of the curse and rid the town of the witch, Marianne. 

The only trouble is, she doesn’t actually know how to defeat her. Fans took to Twitter to share their experiences of watching the new show, with one writing: ‘yall have to watch marianne on Netflix it’s a new french horror series and it’s SO f**ked up. 

Another added: ‘Speaking as a seasoned devourer of all things horror, Marianne is the scariest thing Netflix has ever done. And yes, that includes The Haunting of Hill House, which I adored.’
It’s definitely not a series to watch on your own in the dark, as the fear factor begins from the very first episode. If you don't want to pie on your pants get a partner to watch with. Marianne is out on Netflix now but word of advice  make sure you’ve got a spare pair of pants to hand and don’t plan on having a restful night’s sleep any time soon. Is going to be a very terrifying moment you won't forget easily. Enjoy!!!
