  • NVIDIA Merges With ASUS To Release The Most  Powerful StudioBook With RTX Quadro 6000 24GB
  • ASUS ProArt RTX Quadro 6000 24GB Mobile Workstation StudioBook

What an awesome collaboration between NVIDIA and ASUS, is good these two companies had something to exhibit at IFA2019. Sincerely, i've never see such a power packed in a portable box before. My mind tells me that the power NVIDIA packed into this ASUS is specially made to impress professionals on the go.
Recently, NVIDIA has a lot of attention on the "Z" aesthetic of notebooks essentially in width. Sincerely it looks like it's starting to be a dream come true. I mean who doesn't want a powerful portable pc to go about? Many organisations prefers laptop based workflow these days than a random desktop. This Workstation is here for a rescue mission to professionals out there.

ASUS ProArt: Powered By An NVIDIA RTX Quadro 6000 With 24GB of VRAM Rivals Desktop Performance

This laptop might going to cost a lot what do you think? The philosophy and tech behind this really cool. Ultra-thin fins made from Titanium are used in a vapor chamber design that passes out 300W of heat in a Z height of less than 25mm. That's not all, the two companies claims that the laptop will remain cool to the touch even when running the GPU full power, sweet jesus that is incredibly awesome.
Are you thinking, what am thinking? downclocking? You're thinking that they've  downclocked the core to fit it in the thermal envelope right? Oh i thought the same too. But surprisingly, NVIDIA is claiming the laptop is close to Desktop performance, which means that there must not be a lot of downclocking going on. These are probably highly binned chips that can run cool at high clocks and the entire setup is going to add to the cost. C'mon, have a look at benchmarks the company showed at IFA below.
The ASUS ProArt equipped with this powerful Quadro RTX 6000 is 13% slower than the desktop-based RTX 6000 in SPECviewperf 13 4K Geomean. It is actually *faster* in Redcine-X Pro by around 3% compared to the RTX 6000 desktop.  It’s 2% slower than the desktop RTX 6000 in Autodesk Arnold (wow!) and 9% slower in AI OptiX denoiser. These are very incredible metrics and show that mobility graphics are a very strong rival to their desktop.
