Apple is gearing up to add another low budget iPhone with a powerful processor to its shelf. according to a bunch of leaks, rumors, and speculation we've seen about it in the past couple of months. Every bit of leaked info was pointing towards an introduction at some point during the first quarter of this year.
According to renowned leakster Evan Blass, a.k.a. @evleaks, Apple is set to unveil the device in mid-March. There's been some confusion as to the naming, it's either going to be iPhone 9 or iPhone SE 2. CAD-based renders of the handset have already been outed.
Most previous rumors talked about the iPhone 9 as a device that looks like the iPhone 8, complete with huge bezels, the most speculated feature is that it will sport the Apple current flagship iPhone 11 A13 Bionic chipset.
We'll see which way Apple chose to go, definitively, in a little over a month. Also keep in mind that the iPhone 9 will feature 3GB of RAM (1GB behind the iPhone 11), 64 or 128GB of storage, and a single rear camera. In addition it will come in different colours, you'll choose between Space Gray, silver, and red. One analyst believes the iPhone 9 will start at $399.
